HARRIS COUNTY (KIAH) – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is holding a hiring event on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the HCSO Academy, located at 2316 Atascocita Road.

The event offers attendees a chance to explore careers in public safety, meet with recruiters, and begin the hiring process. Positions are available for Detention Officer and Communication Officer.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma by the hiring date. Candidates will need to complete an application, pass a pre-background screening, and undergo pre-employment testing.
