HOUSTON – A top leader at Texas Southern University is on administrative leave following serious allegations.

In a recently filed lawsuit. TSU athletic director Kevin Granger is accused of sexually assaulting a staff member.

The lawsuit was filed by prominent Houston attorney Tony Buzbee.

After going through the documents, the lawsuit alleges that Granger told the woman he could “help her with her career” if she complied with his requests.

The lawsuit alleges that the assault happened on April 30th. The documents state the athletic director is accused of inviting the female staff member into his office, where he asked if she was ‘recording him’ or ‘wearing a wire’ while he patted her down inappropriately.

The lawsuit further alleges that Granger asked the woman about her relationship
