PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Islanders with asthma may be able to breathe just a little easier, after the Rhode Island Senate passed a bill capping the price of inhalers.

Should that bill pass, prescription inhalers would be capped at $25 a month.

A CDC study from 2021 found Rhode Island leads the rest of the states in the rate of asthma per adult.

That bill now heads to the house.
