The Yankees promoted a handful of prospects on Tuesday, most notably sending Cam Schlittler to Triple-A and Carlos Lagrange to Double-A.

Schlittler is considered the Yankees’ 10 th -best prospect by MLB.com . A first-time invitee to big league camp this spring , the righty went on to record a 2.38 ERA, 17 walks and 64 strikeouts over 10 games (9 starts) and 53 innings at Double-A Somerset.

“He had a really outstanding spring training and made quite the impression with the big league team,” Double-A pitching coach Pete Larson told the Daily News. “I think he’s building on that.

“He killed it. I’m very happy for him and proud of him and the work that he did in these two months.”
