CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Over 100 pages relating to the investigation of Shanquella Robinson's death were released by the FBI earlier this year.
Most of the documents are widely redacted, covering names and various details of information the FBI has gathered. Many of the details shown are procedural manners related to the case, however, some new details have been revealed in the documents.
Robinson, a 25-year-old woman from Charlotte, died in October 2022 while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. A group now known as the "Cabo 6" traveled with Robinson to Mexico. No arrests have been made in the case as the FBI previously said it could not move forward with charges due to a lack of sufficient evidence and ultimately ruled Robinson's cause of death as inconclusive.
