The Texas Tribune is holding a series of events across Texas in June recapping the major policy debates of the 2025 legislative session and what new legislation will mean for communities. Join our conversation with West Texas and rural legislators on June 24 in San Angelo about the state budget, education, property taxes, water, social issues and more. We’ll discuss bills that the Legislature passed, how San Angelo residents and other rural Texans will be affected and what they should know going forward.
Confirmed speakers include Rep. Drew Darby , R-San Angelo , and additional legislators will be announced soon.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12 p.m. Tuesday, June 24 at Angelo State University's LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center.
