The government has announced that Mozambican President Daniel Francisco Chapo will be visiting the country on Thursday. This is according to a letter issued today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The letter states that President Chapo will be in the country for two days. During his visit, he will hold talks with President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and will also inaugurate an office located at the border with Mozambique in Dedza District on Friday.

He is expected to arrive in the country tomorrow via Kamuzu International Airport and will depart on Friday afternoon through the same airport.
