Change can be defined as the act of becoming different.
Change is inevitable, but adapting to change through growth is optional. Growth is inherently uncomfortable. Change can create challenges but also provide great opportunities. Like innovation, change can be slow or fast, incremental or disruptive. Those that adapt to change in a constructive way are usually happier and more successful. While it is important to open our arms to change, it is also important to retain our core values.

Nothing has changed more since I entered ophthalmology 5 decades ago than how, when and where we perform cataract surgery. This issue’s Healio | OSN cover story focuses on the where of cataract surgery.
