VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) -- Virginia Beach Police said they are investigating after a shooting involving an officer Wednesday morning.
According to officials, police were dispatched to the 4600 block of Honeygrove Road for reports of an individual with a gun. Police said officers engaged with the individual with the gun upon arrival.
One adult male was transported to a hospital, but his condition is unknown at the time.
Police have provided no additional information on the incident.
