UCF received another quarterback commitment for its 2026 recruiting class after Dante Carr , a 3-star prospect from Pennsylvania, pledged the Knights on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Carr, a 3-star recruit from Minersville (Pa.) High, announced his decision on social media after taking an official visit last week. He’s the second quarterback to join the ranks during this recruiting cycle, following Kane Archer, who made his commitment in late April.

Carr is a talented multi-sport athlete with the Miners, actively competing in baseball, basketball and football. He’s amassed 4,069 passing yards with 50 touchdown passes and 25 interceptions in 31 games. Additionally, Carr rushed for 2,139 yards with 38 rushing touchdowns.
