FDA Elevates Tomato Recall to Its Highest Warning Level

The FDA is elevating a recall of tomatoes to Class I, its highest warning level. Williams Farm Repack first announced the recall of tomatoes due to risk of salmonella contamination on May 2 with the produce being distributed in late April in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
