To listen to Pulp is to listen to Jarvis Cocker’s wiry frame push pop music through a sticky film of juvenile awkwardness and, in doing so, produce a sound that played no small part in defining what it meant to be British in the 1990s .

Pulp were one of four horsemen of the Britpop -pocalypse. The others were Blur (who reunited for an album in 2023), Oasis (who announced a reunion in 2024) and Suede (who, alongside Pulp, announced a new album in the Spring of 2025).
