PORT ANGELES — If you live between Lairds Road and Lake Sutherland, heads-up: Clallam PUD has a planned power outage coming up this week.

The outage is scheduled to start at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, and should last until around 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6. Crews will be out replacing old power poles overnight to keep the system safe and reliable.

Clallam PUD says the timing was chosen to keep disruptions to a minimum, but if you rely on electricity for medical equipment or other essential needs, it’s a good idea to plan ahead.
