PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Officers are investigating after a car fatally struck a woman while she was walking her dog in Manassas Tuesday night, police said.
Shortly before 10 p.m., officers were sent to the area of Hoadly Road near Token Valley Road in Manassas to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian.
There, an investigation revealed that a 16-year-old boy was driving west on Hoadly Road when he hit Son Ae Willis, 76, of Manassas, with his SUV, according to the Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD).
Willis died at the scene; however, the dog was not injured. The teen driver was also uninjured, according to PWCPD.
