DALLAS — Voters return to the polls Saturday to weigh in on local runoff elections in North Texas.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday for the local runoff elections, which include city council seats in North Texas' two largest cities.
Here's what's on the ballot in the runoff elections in North Texas:
Dallas City Council
Two Dallas City Council seats are on the ballot, including one in Far North Dallas that has been marked in part by a contentious rezoning of the Pepper Square strip mall. In that seat, Bill Roth received 48.36% of the vote (2,992 votes) in the May 3 election to Jeff Kitner's 45% (2,782).
The other Dallas City Council seat on the ballot is the District 8 seat, which represents parts of southern Dallas. During the May 3 election, Erik Wilson received 42.1%
