LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) - Two of the premier programs in college basketball will begin a home-and-home series this season at Allen Fieldhouse.

According to multiple reports , the Kansas Jayhawks and UConn Huskies will meet on Dec. 2 at Allen Fieldhouse for the first game of a home-and-home series. UConn will host a return game during the 2026 season.

The two programs most recently met when UConn came to Allen Fieldhouse on Dec. 1, 2023. Kansas won that game 69-65 over the eventual national champions.

This season’s game will feature potential UConn’s pair of potential preseason All-Americans with guards Solo Ball and Alex Karaban. The Jayhawks figure to have their own preseason All-American with reigning Naismith Boys Basketball Player of the Year guard Darryn Peterson.
