WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police arrested three teenage boys accused of carjacking someone in Southeast early Tuesday.
Minutes before 7:30 a.m. on June 3, officers were sent to the 1500 block of Butler St. in Anacostia for a reported carjacking.
There, the victim told officers that while she was reversing her car to park, three teens wearing ski masks approached her and told her to get out of the car, according to a police report.
The three teens then reportedly pulled her from her car and snatched her key fob before driving away in the stolen vehicle.
Officers canvassed the area and found the carjacked vehicle, along with the three suspects.
As a result, authorities charged two 15-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy with unarmed carjacking.
