A 22-year-old Warren man was was arraigned on second degree murder charges Tuesday in connection with a May 31 incident.

Travis James Holdburg was charged in 37th District Court with one count of second degree homicide. Judge John Chmura set a cash/surety bond at $1 million. If released, Holdburg is to wear a steel cuff GPS tether, have no contact with any witnesses, and not go within a quarter mile of where the incident occurred.

Holdburg pleaded not guilty.

It is alleged on May 31, emergency medical personnel and police were called to a Warren home and found Holdburg standing in the driveway of the residence. Upon entering the home, authorities found Joshua Shultz, 35, with multiple injuries and a large cut across his neck. Officials confirmed Wednesday Shultz was not related to Holdb
