EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed writer, director, and producer Ido Fluk for representation in all areas, with an eye toward helping him secure opportunities across film, television, and more.

Fluk is coming off the Berlin premiere of his latest film, Köln 75 , which has gone on to receive nominations across four categories at the German Film Awards, including Best Picture. The film follows Vera Brandes, who, in 1975 and at the age of 18, staged the famous Köln Concert by jazz musician Keith Jarrett. It’s currently rolling out internationally and will be released theatrically in the U.S. by Zeitgeist Films in the fall.

Fluk is currently developing the bestselling 2013 novel Empty Mansions as a series for HBO, in collaboration with Fremantle’s Dante Di Loreto, Jeffrey Levine, and Joe
