Pete Crow-Armstrong has stolen bases in bunches this year.

He stole 12 in 13 attempts over the Cubs’ first 27 games. Over that time he hit five home runs.

Then he turned on the power and, for a time, turned off the baserunning. Over the Cubs’ next 27 games, PCA stole just two bases in four attempts — but hit nine home runs.

The Cubs have played a total of 60 games and PCA has seven steals in games 55-60, without being caught in that span.
