All of the victims in Sunday’s attack in Boulder are expected to recover, law enforcement officials said on Tuesday.
“As of yesterday, the chief said they’re all expected to survive and three are still in the hospital,” Dionne Waugh, a spokesperson for the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, told The Denver Gazette.
Waugh provided no additional details.
Law enforcement officials have been tight lipped about the details. None of the victims’ names have been released.
One of the eight victims, an 88-year-old Holocaust survivor, is beloved and well-known in the community. She and her daughter had been faithfully attending weekly Run for Their Lives events. Run for Their Lives is a global group calling for the release of the hostages held by Hamas since the Oct. 7 attacks.
