LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities said a cybertip helped lead to the arrest of a man at Nashville International Airport over the weekend.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said special agents received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Friday, May 30. According to officials, the tip contained information about a woman detailing sexual exploitation and abuse from when she was a child.

Further investigation reportedly revealed that 46-year-old Juan Carlos Barturen "raped and sexually exploited the victim multiple times."

TBI special agents with the Internet Crimes Against Children, alongside the Nashville International Airport Police, arrested Barturen on Saturday, May 31, at the airport.
