LUBBOCK, Texas -- A Lubbock young athlete, 11-year-old Kason Sapa, has qualified for a football talent showcase in Denton and his family is asking for the community's support to get him there.

His mother, Charsita Sapa, told EverythingLubbock.com Kason currently plays for the Lubbock Punishers YFL and has previously played for the TYFA, Hub City Matadors and LRR Stampede.

"Kason has a big heart and is a loving kid. He's good to his three other siblings and loves to compete. He is our little hulk smash protector and loves Jesus," Charsita said.

Kason's favorite college football team is the Texas Tech Red Raiders and his Favorite NFL football player, a TTU Alum is Breiden Fehoko, #96 for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
