ABC 7’s Brendan Mackey and Robin Steel visited the destroyed Tri-Par Estates Mobile Home Park right after Hurricane Milton hit. 7 months later they returned to see how the neighborhood is doing today.
Resident Laurel Martin says, “It costs more to fix it than it does to take it down. Some are rebuilding and putting in new pieces, and some are just deciding they aren’t going to chance it anymore. They don’t want to go through it again.”
