Indiana Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith, this week, addressed trips overseas being taken by the Secretary of State Diego Morales. This year Morales has taken trips to both India and Hungary. Beckwith was asked about both trips in an interview with 93 WIBC’s Kendall and Casey. “He went to Hungary because of CPAC. He was invited because of the Hungary delegation that’s close to his wife to come and have conversations about Purdue and agriculture. He’s not making deals. He can’t make deals. He doesn’t have that authority. He has to go through the U.S. Department of Agriculture,” said Beckwith.
