HOUSTON (KIAH) — A man and a woman were found dead in their home in east Harris County, authorities said.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said that deputies came to a home on the 14600 block of Brownwood Drive on Wednesday afternoon. They discovered a man and a woman who were declared dead at the scene.

Deputies did not state the age or description of the victim as they are still notifying the next-of-kin. They also said they do not know when they died, but said they were not killed on Wednesday.

Officials said that they do not believe the incident was a murder-suicide and believe the victims were killed, although authorities did not state how they were killed.

Investigators are still working at the scene and are working to find a motive and a suspect.
