Rutherford County District Attorney General Jennings Jones requested the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation handle the case involving an assistant district attorney

TBI agents made the arrest June 3 and booked him at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center

Rutherford County Assistant District Attorney Quinn Rodriguez faces assault charges with a gun threat towards a woman, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced June 3.

TBI agents investigated the case at the request of Rutherford District Attorney Jennings Jones, according to the press release.

"Agents determined Quinn Rodriguez, (a 35-year-old) assistant district attorney in the 16 th Judicial District, assaulted a woman," the TBI press release said. "On one occasion, it was determined that Rodriguez brandished a gun
