MASSILLON, Ohio (WKBN) - Apple Creek Waynedale topped Cardinal Mooney 10-4 in the Division V Regional Semifinal on Wednesday afternoon in Massillon.

Ford Stacy finished the game 3-4 with a 2-run home run and 3 RBI for the Cardinals.

Ryan Reese went 3-4 with an RBI for Mooney in the setback.

With the loss, Cardinal Mooney's season comes to an end with a record of 19-7.

Waynedale improves to 26-3 overall on the campaign.

The Golden Bears advance to face the winner of Canton Central Catholic/Creston Norwayne in the Division V Regional Final on Thursday at 5 p.m. in Massillon.
