CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Supervisor of the Town of Corning was arrested for allegedly receiving unemployment benefits she was not entitled to, the Steuben County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday.
Jennifer Mullen, 45, is charged with Grand Larceny, Falsifying Business Records and Offering a False Instrument for Filing.
According to Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard, the alleged fraud has nothing to do with her position with the Town of Corning.
Corning Town Supervisor, Jennifer Mullen, issued the following statement to WENY News regarding her arrest:
