MADISON – More responsibility will be placed on the shoulders of the tight ends in Jeff Grimes' offense.

So far the larger role has been a pretty good selling point to players at that position on the recruiting trail.

The Wisconsin football program brought in two tight ends during its first major weekend of official visits and by June 4 both players had committed to the Badgers ’ 2026 class.

Jack Janda , a 6-foot-6, 240-pound standout at Detroit Catholic Central High School, announced his commitment to UW on X and Instagram.

His post, which included a picture of him in a Wisconsin uniform, was to the point: COMMITTED.
