TJ Shorts had 22 points plus nine assists (with zero turnovers) and Nadir Hifi scored 23 as Paris Basketball beat JL Bourg en Bresse 100 – 89 in Game 1 of the French League semifinals.

Bourg led 52 – 56 early in the second half but Paris took charge with a 13 – 2 run. The hosts then scored 12 unanswered points to take a 88 – 74 advantage three minutes into the four period and cruised to win down the stretch.

Maksim Salash had 18 points and Jordan Usher posted 14 points plus five assists for Bourg that will try to bounce back in Game 2 Friday (6/6).
