AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - Many kids are looking for something to do this summer. And there are plenty of summer camps available to keep them active.

Fort STEAM disguises learning during the summer as a fun experience. Camp organizers tell me it's essential for kids to keep learning throughout the summer.

"It's a foundation of most education," said Jonah Miller, Director of Fort STEAM. "So, whenever kids go home, they have that break in the summer, and we're here to basically make sure that they don't dump a bunch of stuff over the summer, and they keep it fresh in their minds, and they still have that learning frame of mind whenever the fall comes."

"It's like learning. You're learning, but you're also having fun," said Caroline Jackson, a student.
