CARY, N.C. (WNCN) — Two unrelated searches for domestic violence suspects led to three schools in Cary being placed under lockdowns Wednesday, police said.
According to the Cary Police Department, officers were searching for 18-year-old Landon Giggins of Cary, who was wanted on a domestic violence protective order pretrial release violation.

During the search, according to Cary police, Giggins was seen in a wooded area between Panther Creek High School on McCrimmon Parkway, where he was a former student, and the Aster Apartments on Alston Manor Street.
Panther Creek High was placed on a Code Yellow lockdown while officers were looking for Giggins nearby, according to Cary police.
