SAN ANTONIO - The man accused of shooting and killing actor Jonathan Joss has been released from the Bexar County Jail.

Just moments ago, Sigfredo Alvarez walked out of the doors of the jail and ran to a nearby waiting car. He was arrested on Monday and granted bond the same day. He declined to answer any of our questions.

Jonathan Joss's brother, George Gonzales, says he hadn't spoken with him in eight years and declined to appear on camera after being uneasy about the case. Still, he described Joss as someone who gave generously to others and took time with people no matter the situation.

He says Joss often gave autographs and took photos with fans without asking for anything in return.
