TRAVERSE CITY — Rotary Club of Traverse City announced the recipients of their Good Works Grants.

A total of $10,000 is being distributed between six local non-profits:

- Grand Traverse Community Enrichment ($2,200)

- Generations Ahead ($2,000)

- Acme Christian Thrift Store & Food Pantry ($1,500)

- Angel Care Childcare ($1,500)

- Networks Northwest ($1,400)

- TC West Robotics Boosters ($1,400)

The selections were made after a competitive review process.

“The Rotary Clubs motto is ‘service above self’, and the Rotary Club of Traverse City has been around for more than 100 years, and we are still committed to that motto,” says club Board Member Miriam Owsley. “We’ve refreshed our vision to be focused on youth, families and fresh water in our area.”
