COLUMBIA CHARTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) - Two people with outstanding warrants were arrested in Jackson County Sunday morning.

On June 1 at 2:15 a.m., Columbia Charter Township Police located two people with outstanding warrants sitting in a parked truck.

The duo, 35-year-old David Farmer and 30-year-old Shea Hopper, were parked west of lot 152 on S. Main Street. Police would make contact with the suspects and take them into custody without incident.

While searching, police discovered meth and drug paraphernalia.

The two were taken to the Jackson County Jail on outstanding warrants and new drug charges. They now face felony meth posession charges alongside habitual offender-foruth offense penalties.

The two were arraigned on Tuesday.

It’s unclear what their outstanding warrants were.
