TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A former Tucson firefighter had pleaded guilty in connection with a road rage incident from earlier this year.
On Monday, June 2, Raul Carrasco III pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is set to be sentenced on July 21.
He had also been facing charges of drive-by shooting and discharging a firearm in the city.
Carrasco was arrested following an incident in Tucson in February 2025.
The Tucson Fire Department quickly moved to terminate Carrasco following his arrest, but it is unclear if he was fired or if he resigned.
According to the interim complaint, the person who accused Carrasco of shooting at them called 911 on Feb. 28 to report the incident.
