MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — New body-cam videos show previous instances where Emily Pike ran away from a Mesa group home in the months leading up to her brutal murder.

On Valentine’s Day, the 14-year-old’s remains were found dismembered in trash bags in the woods north of Globe.

Pike’s family, who lives on the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation, previously told Arizona’s Family that at the time of her death, she was living in the group home. Her family has since filed a lawsuit against the group home , stating that employees did not follow proper protocols in reporting Pike missing.

No arrests have been made in Pike’s murder case.
