SAN ANTONIO - Several people remain in immigration detention centers following recent ICE arrests outside of San Antonio immigration courts.

Carmen Herrera was detained last week by ICE outside of one San Antonio immigration court. She’s a mother of 5 girls who are all U.S. citizens and Carmen is also married to a U.S. citizen.

Carmen’s attorney tells us this is a nightmare for Carmen and her family and a waste of time and resources because they do expect Carmen to be released.

“I want my mom to come back for me because now she can’t” said Carmen’s daughter Jocelyn as she teared up while talking in front of a large crowd on Monday.
