Elon Musk, who left his position as an advisor to President Donald Trump just days ago, harshly criticized the administration’s “big, beautiful bill” as a “disgusting abomination.”
“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” Musk wrote on his social media site, X. “This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
The spending and policy plan passed the house by a 1-vote margin, 215-214, less than two weeks ago. It is facing opposition in the senate from a handful of Republican senators, threatening to stall the massive bill.
“The president already knows where Elon Musk stood on this bill. It doesn’t change the president’s opinion,” White House Press Secretary
