A One of Them Days sequel is currently in the works!

Variety reports that a sequel is in early development from producer Issa Rae , with both stars – Keke Palmer and SZA – expected to return!

In addition, the original film’s creative team is also expected to come back.

The first movie, written by Syreeta Singleton and directed by Lawrence Lamont , follows “best friends and roommates Dreux ( Palmer ) and Alyssa ( SZA ) are about to have One of Them Days. When they discover Alyssa’s boyfriend has blown their rent money, the duo finds themselves going to extremes in a comical race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact.”
