When it comes to driving in Maine, we are pretty lucky most of the year. There are some period where travel by car can be a little less-than-pleasant, however. Take for example tourist season on the coast- kinda crappy, right? Or the middle of a winter storm when the plows haven't been out yet, that also really sucks.
However, most of the time, driving in Maine is actually pretty chill. Most of our roads are rural and our speed limits, all things considered, are actually fairly high. I mean, once you get north of Orono the speed limit on the interstate jumps to 75. I would also argue that almost everyone reading this right now (who is of driving age) has li
