SAN ANTONIO - A popular Mexican regional band known across the southwest and Mexico—especially here in Texas—has suddenly vanished.

They canceled shows, went silent on social media, and alarmed their fans and family.

They are a prominent band known for performing at concerts, BBQs, and quinceañeras—Grupo Fugitivo, famous for their accordion-driven sound and fiery performances.

But since Sunday, May 25, the band has gone completely silent. They haven’t posted on any of their social media accounts.
