Summer flew by and in the blink of an eye, our children will soon be back to school. As always, it’s last minute shopping at local stores for uniforms, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and more. Of course, it has to be new and shiny for the little ones, as well as the teenagers starting a new school year.
Remember it is very important that children take a healthy snack to school, along with their school lunch. It is always good to include a fruit or vegetable in season, granola bar, yogurt, raisins, nuts, or wheat biscuits low in salt.
Another great piece of advice for all parents, is to help their children in their daily tasks, such as reading a book with them at least three times a week. This expands their imagination and will take them to a new world of possibilities. University or
