LANSING, (Mich.) -- The Leslie community is still shaken following the death of a 14-year-old boy who was electrocuted while walking a community trail Tuesday evening.
Many neighbors are emotional, trying to recover from losing someone so young. Leslie resident Shai Case says it has been hard to deal with.
"I think it is just one of those things that is devastating. These are children, and they had so much life to live," said Case.
Neighbors tell 6 News the incident happened on a community trail near Worthington Place Drive. Police say two teen boys were walking along the trail when the 14-year-old touched a power line with a metal pole and was electrocuted.
A 15-year-old boy was hospitalized after police say he was "electrocuted through" the 14-year-old while attempting to help him. A
