A man accused of shooting a Delano police K-9 officer multiple times during a traffic stop in McFarland has pleaded no contest, according to Kern County Superior Court records. Edwuard Figueroa entered a plea to multiple counts, including assaulting a peace officer and willfully harming a peace officer's dog, for his actions on New Year's Day 2022.
