Kinnelon had lost four straight games heading into the tournament, but promptly perked up behind the strong faceoff work of Andrew Corrado and a group of teammates eager to capitalize on his wins. The Colts topped Park Ridge, 18-4, and Westwood, 11-7, behind the spark of Luke Baitzel, Peter Correira, Matt Goldstein, Johnny Papendick, Ryan Caamano and even senior LSM Ben Klinger, who produced two goals and two assists against Park Ridge and has nine goals and 11 assists this season.
