LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- As animal abandonment issues grow in Las Vegas, non-profit Pawtastic Friends founder, Melissa Novelli, told 8 News Now, they have been overwhelmed with calls.

“Yesterday was a horrible day for me,” she explained. “Not only did I have the dog come in here, but every phone call is people wanting to dump their animals.”
