WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Police in D.C. arrested a teenager accused of two different thefts in Northwest D.C.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said in a news release that the first theft happened on Saturday, April 26. Just before 11:30 a.m., "multiple suspects" went into a building in the 1000 block of F St. NW, stole items and then left.
Police identified a 15-year-old teenage boy as a suspect in this case. MPD found and arrested him on Wednesday, June 4. He was charged with first-degree theft for the theft that happened in April.
MPD said that the boy was also tied to a second theft that happened on Wednesday, March 19 around 10:20 p.m. in the 3200 block of M St. NW.
