BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. (WBOY) — Vandalia Health and its affiliate Mon Health broke ground on its new Mon Harrison Neighborhood Hospital at Charles Pointe Crossing in Bridgeport on Monday, beginning the next stage of a $30 million investment project.

At the ceremony, the planned facility was compared in size and capability to the Mon Marion hospital in White Hall. Speakers also celebrated the medical care that would be brought to the area, as well as the jobs.

President and CEO of Vandalia Health, David Ramsey, told 12 News that it's been productive partnering with the Harrison County community on the hospital.
